Kangaroo & chicken Crinkle dog treats road tested by Archie VIDEO
Kangaroo and Chicken Crinkles seem to mostly be favored by people who own small dogs, however they are much more versatile than that.
Like all of the black dog treat range, they are very high in meat. 85%. This video shows my dog Archie at the Williamstown rocks eating quite a few in rapid succession, just in case you want to see what eating them is like for a 20kg spoodle/ cockapoo.

Not everyone is aware of what a crinkle is, so here is the news, they are essentially the dog treat straps cut down into little square pieces. A lot of people like the straps because they are quite long chewing and a dog has to eat right to the end of them before swallowing the last piece, but of course crinkles have their place too.
As chicken and kangaroo crinkles are made of exactly the same material as chicken and kangaroo straps, they are also very chewy, but in a much more manageable size. For all of those people who don’t want to feed their dog a whole strap at once, then the crinkle saves you cutting them down.
Chicken and roo crinkle feeding options
While they are ideal for small dogs that you don’t want to over feed .. another option is for large dogs that you are training but want them to think about the treat before they move on. For instance, some large breeds have a tendency to chomp standard training treats like liver in one gulp, then run off. Beef liver balls and chicken balls are options, however, chicken and Roo crinkle provide another more substantial option.
As long as you are not in a dog competition, you can get a large dog to sit, tell them another command, and have them stay focused in one place for a few more seconds that a liver treat will provide.
The main point of roo and chicken crinkles is that they are not so large as to spoil a dog’s diet or main meal, But again being a healthy dog treat, they can provide better nutrition than many manufactured dog foods.
