Octopus dog treats - caught in Australia

We have quite a few jerky's in our store, and a few of those are organic. However those meats are relatively common (at least for human consumption).  Octopus dog treats however are one of the  cleanest high protein meats. They are organic and high in ALL essential amino acids (that the dogs body cant manufacture but are vital to its health), vitamins and minerals that other meats don't have.

For instance DRY Octopus dog treats have 70% plus protein (aafco minimum requirement 18%).  the table at the bottom of this description shows why Octopus is a fantastic resource for your dogs essential amino acids.

To  keep the octopus in as natural state as possible we typically cut the large oval full octopuses pieces into approximately 8 cm wide strips. The full length of the strips is usually 15 cm long but vary depending on which part of the oval we are cutting.  It is only a few mm thick and quite flexible. You can then easily snip off how much you need from each of the wide strips,

The treats are also very high in vitamin B12 and Iron 5.3 mg and Selenium  44 mico-grams

The octopus is caught in Australian waters under licence. The meat is cut into thin layers and dried resulting in large oval shapes of premium meat 1-2 mm in thickness. In the 500g and 1 Kg bags we typically leave this meat exactly as we receive it from the supplier so that you can choose how to cut up and serve your dog.

The texture is pliable. You can bend it like rubber but at its limit you can also snap it off, depending on how dry the meat has become.

Like most jerky's Octopus meat is 100% meat - no preservatives, nothing artificial added.
