Beef CUBES DOG TREATS, quick & easy 100% BEEF & how to eat them VIDEO
Beef cubes retain a special place in the dog treat array, and for good reason. They are the lightest easiest to eat 100% beef treat we sell.
You may be asking yourself how they get them to be so light and airy, and why they are such a healthy dog treat ... all good questions, answered later in this article.
Elsewhere on this site is ample evidence that meat is the only food that a carnivore dog should eat. Many owners do not follow this rule for one reason or another, but that doesn't stop you feeding your dog all meat dog treats?
Can dogs eat beef jerky? See the VIDEO to know how they eat high value, long lasting dog treats.
Beef Jerky is the king of dog treats. And the reason is that beef is readily available from providers meaning that the product is usually in good supply and high quality.
The meat is also one of the main meats that most dogs eat (via as an additive to pellets or cans, or raw like I feed my dog).
The big difference is that this beef jerky is a 'black dog' brand treat, and is 100% beef. The 'processing' is simple. The meat is extracted, the meat is dried, we get you the dried 100% beef.
A VIDEO on how to eat flake fillets dog treats
Exciting times as we are now able to provide fish (shark) products for dog treats.
This article looks at what makes fish fillets irresistible to most dogs, and why they are so good for your dog.
It also includes a video of Archie eating a fish fillet so you can get an idea of how easy they are to eat.
For one of the healthiest dog treats in existence, choose Aussie FLAKE!
Kanga-roo Straps | Chicken Straps DOG TREATS: Instructional - how to eat it VIDEO
What can be said about the splendid kangaroo and chicken straps that has not already been said?
They seem to be one of the larger take anywhere regular treats that people buy because they remind them of something that they might buy in the supermarket, but these are a very different dog treat to the garden variety filler on most supermarket shelves. They are high quality and are high in the roo.
DOG TREATS: Beef Liver Balls Instructional - how to eat it VIDEO
Beef liver treat balls are really the basic 101 building block of all treats. They are little pebbles of up to 85% meat. Yes, that's correct. While many dog foods struggle to achieve 20% meat, these premium beef liver ball dog treats are up to 85% meat!
The reason that this is important is that most dogs are fed on manufactured food diets which are low in meat. Dogs can survive on vegetable and grain proteins, but they thrive on beef because they are carnivores and their whole digestive system is set up to efficiently process meat.
DOG TREATS: Kanga-Roo Nugget/ Chicken Nugget Instructional - how to eat it VIDEO
Kangaroo meat is a lot trickier to get than any other meat, because it is not farmed by traditional methods. However these kangaroos are farmed under strict game licenses by the various states.
Kanga-Roo is so attractive to many dog owners because It is also one of the leanest meats around, and one of the easiest accessible game meats in Australia.
This is the companion article to the video taken of my dog Archie eating Kangaroo Nuggets dog treats.
DOG TREATS: Duck jerky Instructional - how to eat it VIDEO
Have you tried your dog in duck before? Probably not as it is moderately exotic and expensive in Australia, well that is until now.
The reason you may like to try it with your dog is that it is a meat that it would not regularly get, which helps expand its body's processing abilities of a new protein. While in raw form it is high in saturated fat, this is not an issue for dried duck such as in these treats.
Also you should note that saturated fats are an issue for humans, not dogs, who use proteins and fats as their main source of energy and do not suffer cholesterol problems like their owners.
Chicken breast fillet dog treat VIDEO - how to eat it
This is the second in our instructional videos on healthy dog treat products. This video shows 'how to eat a chicken breast dog treat'. This might be a seemingly easy task, if you are a dog, but for us human owners, there is some speculation about the size, colour, texture, time taken to eat the chicken breast dog treats etc.
Chicken breast fillets are one of the most popular dog treats I sell at local markets and online. This is probably the dual benefit they have of being the most pure chicken dog treat (just 100% chicken) and the extremely good value (price and service) .
How to have a social dog, through play, socialisation, discipline - VIDEO
This is the back story to the second video in the amazing Ella V Archie extreme play sessions. One dog is a spoodle (cocker spaniel cross poodle) while the other is a Labrador cross unknown. The first video of epic dog play can be found here. The video also demonstrates what hard, but very social play is about.
The video shown here is the more 'hard core' play of the two videos on this site, and even in slow motion, you can sense how long these play sessions would go for, and how much energy both dogs expended.
I used to walk Ella professionally, and Archie is my dog. So I have a pretty good sense of their limits.
Kangaroo stick dog treat, VIDEO of how to eat them.
This is a video of my dog Archie eating the world famous black dog roo stick. I sell these great dog treats online on the store on this site.
This is the first in the series of 'instructional dog treat eating' videos. So often people ask me about what is in the roo stick, what is the kangaroo stick most useful for etc. Well here are the answers.
Please note that currenly (Oct 2014) The kangaroo sticks in the regular six pack remain approximately the same size as shown in the video, however the bulk packs have 35 sticks approximately DOUBLE the length.
Springer spaniel ball guarding and retrieving needs satisfied - VIDEO
The springer spaniel I filmed was a young female with very high energy. I was visiting her at quarantine but rules meant that I could only visit her twice a week during set hours.
The springer spaniel is known to be a tireless retriever, and a very high energy good swimmer that is only too willing to please. In the video you will see her very strong ball guarding behavior!
The issue for many people who take this dog on as a pet is that its mental and physical activity releases still need to be met, each day.
Gypsy the amazing labradoodle dog jumping high for her walk VIDEO
Gypsy is a beautiful labradoodle. She was spending some time in quarantine, and this video shows how happy she is to see me.
Even at eight she still has the energy to jump all four feet of the ground half a metre or so in the air.
Quarantine is a real test for a lot of animals and their owners. A lot of dogs take the first half of their month long stay to adjust to their situation and be anywhere near normal. In Gypsy's case she was friendly and well adjusted the first time I saw her.
Swamp dogs Archie, blitz and Jack & Jill love the water - VIDEO
This is the story of Archie, blitz and Jack and Jill. Archie is a four year old spoodle/ cockapoo. Because he is my dog he typically gets two walks per day, and a healthy raw meat diet. This makes him healthy and social.
Blitz is a 12 year old ridge backcross that when I was first introduced to him had many anti social problems. Much of this was caused by his recent change in environment. After spending three years on a farm where he had plenty of space and solitude, owner circumstances changed and he had to live back in an urban environment with a small yard.
Rick border collie - Water bowl & running - Obsessive dog behaviour VIDEO
When you see this video, initially you may consider it to be fun, delightful. As the minute's tick by, you will perhaps become concerned for the dog. Does the border collie have an obsessive dog behaviour disorder?
But really its all a matter of context, the things you don't see or know outside of the camera field of view.
Before I launch into explaining the video, you should perhaps see what the owner says about it.
Archie my cockapoo/ spoodle going through his rabbit tracking paces VIDEO
It's funny how some dog 'purists' will insist that pedigree dogs are the only valid dogs, even though the vast majority of AKC registered dogs originated under 200 years ago. AND they are the result of 3 or more other breeds 'cobbled together. This video shows how well two similar breeds go in creating a very happy alert dog.

Happy dogs are made by their owners actions
My dog while not exemplary in behaviour is mostly a product of MY lack of discipline and its own natural tendencies to wander. People don’t understand that as the pack leader they themselves have a responsibility to daily take their dogs on daily life affirming excursions.
What I also have experienced with my new friend is the bond I witness in many other diligent owners who either regularly take their dog to off lead dog parks or when they go out to cafes.
Ode to my dog Archie & why everyone (responsible) should own a dog
All of my previous articles have been based on facts and an attempt to educate and illuminate readers about dog best health practices and dog trends. At the risk of sounding sentimental, this article is about what every good dog owner experiences - a special bond between human and dog.
More so, this article reflects on the amazing things that I have experienced with my dog Archie and what responsible dog ownership is about.
